Teaching Practice Research Program

What is "Research on Teaching Practice"?

It refers to the process in which teachers, in order to improve the quality of teaching and to promote the learning effectiveness of students in colleges and universities, raise questions through the educational field and adopt appropriate research methods and assessment tools to verify the effectiveness of the program through curriculum design, teaching materials and methodology, or the introduction of teaching aids and the use of technological media.

Application Period

Mid-November to mid-December each year (according to the Ministry of Education's announcement)

Application Requirements

The program chairperson is a full-time staff member of a public or private college or university:

1. Teachers who have been certified by the Ministry of Education as assistant professors or above.

2. Lecturers certified by the Ministry of Education who have published their teaching achievements or have received awards related to their teaching achievements both inside and outside the university.

3. Specialized technical staff, professional and technical teachers.

Application Categories

10 courses + 2 programs "choose one" application, each person up to 1 program

1. One-year program:

(1) 10 disciplines: Liberal Studies (including Sports), Education, Humanities, Arts and Design, Business and Management, Social Sciences (including Law and Politics), Engineering, Mathematics and Science, Healthcare, Biotechnology and Agriculture, and Livelihoods.

(2) 2 programs: University Social Responsibility, Technical Practical Work

2. Multi-year:

(1) Project: Social Responsibility in Universities

Funding

Maximum NT$500,000 per case
